Every day that Izadora had that she was in a city and wasn't on the road she was grateful for. That said, there was no time to relax. Now a freshly minted Harper, she had a new job to settle into. And Elturel was city new to her where connections needed to be made- especially when it seemed that this would be a place they would need to return to often for their operations.
Thus time had to be spent efficiently before they were off gallivanting once again.
And to her luck, she had been able to begin to find connections through a local theater company- which provided her an interesting idea. She had been meeting to talk to Koh of some things, and her ventures into the parts of the city with a more artistic bent had offered places in which she could use to garner favor with her new boss. And at the same time she could scope out potential connections and clientele.
Two birds with one stone, though she thought it an unfortunate metaphor for the situation. But perhaps Koh would find such a notion funny none the less.
And thus, a date of a business lunch was set at a cafe down the street from the theater. Choosing a location that would serve food was an obvious choice, given how much she knew the woman loved food. Iza also arrived a little early, securing a seat that would provide a good view for people watching all the artistic sorts. Perhaps it was more work to put in then was needed, but Izadora would never not feel the pressure to impress a boss.
And as Iza spotted Koh on her way, she waved her down and beckoned her over.
"Thank you for agreeing to join me this afternoon, Koh," Izadora said, smiling at her companion. "This is my first time here, but when I passed by it yesterday I knew just had to check it out. And it seemed to be the type of place you'd enjoy as well. I hope I wasn't mistaken."
